CONSUMING LOVE

Do we honestly have a consuming love for God and a passion and zeal for the things of His kingdom?  Using references from bible verses in Song of Songs 8:6-7, Mark 12:30-31, along with John 2:17 and others, Mickey shares insights of what it means to love God with a passionate and consuming love.   A challenging and uplifting message of insight, with exhortation, is given to ignite one's calling in Christ. It is a call to Christians to rekindle the flames of ministry within the church while presenting God's gift of salvation to the lost.

"FRIENDLY FIRE" & FORGIVENESS

One of the greatest challenges we face is getting along with the people in our lives.  All of us need to experience both the forgiveness of our Heavenly Father and the forgiveness of others around us on a daily basis.  We are often wounded the most, usually inadvertently, by those closest to us. Mickey refers to these injuries as "friendly fire".   Whether by "friendly fire" or by suffering an intentional wrong, Mickey shows the offended and the wounded how to apply certain biblical passages and principles, and most especially the example of Christ's forgiveness, into their own lives in order to enable them to overcome hurt and bitterness and thereby experience the fullness of joy and the ultimate freedom in forgiveness.

Do you really "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance." (James 1:2-3)?  Are you able to praise Almighty God for the difficulties or losses in your life because you understand that this is an opportunity to prove your faith, develop perseverance and display the character of Christ?  Mickey compassionately and openly discusses the difficult issues we all have to face in the midst of life's trials.  She identifies with the human weaknesses, failures, and heartrending losses that all of us will eventually face while living in a fallen world, including separations or deaths of dear loved ones.  In this presentation, Mickey assures her listeners of the magnificent grace of God available in times of trouble and of the 'glory to be revealed in us' as we learn to overcome present sorrow and life's confusion by trusting God and choosing to cling to Jesus in the midst of the storms of life.

What is genuine worship?  Is it just a part of singing hymns in church or is it an attitude of the heart that we carry with us at all times?  What kind of worship does God say is acceptable to Him?  What kind of worship does God really desire from our lives?  From various passages in the bible Mickey examines what it means to worship God in the beauty of holiness even, and especially, during a difficult crisis or a tremendous disappointment or loss.

THE BRIDE ADORNED AS ROYALTY

In this exciting message for the church, the Bride of Christ, Mickey enthusiastically expresses what it means for Christ's Bride to be arrayed in beauty, holiness and splendor.  She looks to the books of Revelation, Song of Solomon and Psalm 45 for inspiration and directives for becoming the beautifully adorned and fully prepared Bride of Christ.  What are the attributes of a bride?  What are the rewards?  Mickey answers these and other vital questions while she inspires and challenges her listeners to use this short time on earth to learn and prepare to become the beautiful and royal Bride of Christ.

THE BATTLEFIELD OF PRAYER

E.M. Bounds said "The strongest one in Christ's Kingdom is he who is the best pray-er.  The secret of success in Christ's Kingdom is the ability to pray.  The one who can wield the power of prayer is the strong one, the holy one in Christ's Kingdom.".  In this study Mickey explains how battles of the church, and battles in our own personal lives, are either lost or won on the battlefield of prayer.  She also explores the urgent need and the means for being still and quiet in the presence of Almighty God, especially in light of today's stressful and sometimes frantic pace of living.  Today, more than ever, Christians need to heed the admonition "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth" (Psalm 46:10).

ARISE MY CHILD, INCLINE YOUR EAR

In this enlightening presentation Mickey discusses what it means to commune with a Holy God.  She presents scriptural illustrations to illuminate ways in which God may speak to His children today.  Mickey explores questions such as "How does God speak to His children in this day and age"?  "How can I hear God's voice when He's speaking to me?"  "How can I be sure if what I heard was really from God?"  "How does one enter into the presence of a holy and majestic God?"  Mickey addresses these and other relevant questions when sharing insights on this often perplexing, but always captivating, subject.

I DO LAUNDRY, BUT I DON'T COOK !

Through often humorous personal experience stories, such as from 'out of the kitchen to foraging for food', Mickey sometimes combines the healing mechanism of laughter interwoven with solid biblical foundations to urge her listeners to develop the gifts and callings of God resident within their own personal lives.  We are each a unique creation of our loving creator, with differing gifts and abilities.  There are no duplicates.  We are not in competition with one another, as we each have a special purpose and responsibility to run our own personal  race with perseverance.  Mickey motivates her listeners to be all they can be in Christ while still enjoying and seeing the humor and laughter in everyday circumstances.  "A cheerful heart is good medicine, ...."
